A few weeks ago, I went to stay the night at my "bestfriends" house on a college campus. She signed me in as a guest and proceeded to show me to her dorm. We chilled for about an hour, at 9pm I recieved a phone call from the guy that my mother purchased my car from.
(keep in mind that this guy is the brother-in law of my bestfriend!)
We’re gonna call him D and my friend Faith.
D calls and says ‘if you want your things out of your car you better come get them now’ then hangs up in my face. I run down the stairs in panic and find my car being hooked up to the tow truck and D and his wife standing next to their truck. There were also two campus police out there with them. They would talk to me or answer any questions so I get in my car and call my mother and fiancé to figure out what to do!
About 2-3 hours later the tow truck leaves because the cope says that this is a civil matter and they can’t make me get out of the car! (they had no documentation saying they could take my car & I had my contract with me in the car). D pulls his truck infront of my car so I can’t move (which at this point I’m like isn’t this harrassment) also the cop car blocks me as well and another car pulls up with two more officers. At this point my fiancé shows up but they make him leave after D tries to yank him out of my car! About 2 more hours later D decides
to leave and Faith brings my bags downstairs so I can leave. My bags are outside of my door when the cop asks me to hand him my ID.
At this point I’m scared to death it’s 3am I’m by myself with 4 guy cops and I’m an 18 year old perfect student sweet girl.
I ask the officer if it would be okay if he backed up from the door a little so I could grab my purse and not have to fear being snatched out of my car. He assures me that he isn’t trying to arrest me he just needs my ID to file a report & that everything will be just fine!
Meanwhile I’m on the phone with my parents who are telling me not to get out since the officer said he can’t make me get out of the car earlier. (my dad is a state trooper)
The cop starts yelling at me and so I open my door and ALL 4 cops grab me, shove me into the ground one was sitting on my legs, one was pushing my head into the concrete and there was a huge elbow in my back while one handcuffed me!
The arrested me for resisting but that just doesn’t make sense to me.
I’m 18 years old 5’2 120lbs.
I was taken to the Edmond police station and booked. Bail=0
The judge released me the next morning at noon. I plead not guilty
my court date is Oct 22

To anyone who says I painted a so called "cute picture"…..Your cruel! I’m very innocent!
The reason all off this is so crazy is because
1. I don’t know why they wanted to take my car. I always pay one month earlier than needed so that if I’m broke one monthi don’t have to worry!
2. I’m assumming that D called the cops
3. I tried to ask for documentation that okay’ed this mess and everyone acted like they were ignoring me so I sat in my car
