How does a bankruptcy trustee appraise your car?

i.e – Kelly blue book, edmonds, or other means? My state has a ,000 motor exemption… You can`t find a safe car/truck for a that. I have an old truck I would like to keep and am wondering if the trustee will want to drive it home. Its a 96 F250 4×4 with a 7.3psd. Clean truck but old with a 100K miles. Any ideas? Thanks ! Dave

Buying a car…which price guide is the most accurate?

It is an older Acura Integra 3.2 TL

Kelly blue book lists it for Private Party ,900
Edmonds Private Party price is ,162.

That is a big difference…I don’t know which is accurate.

Finally Gold NADA lists it fro ,200.

Any thoughts about what I should offer for it?

What is the value of a 1997 Saturn SL 1?

It is a white four door, automatic with 150K + in good condition. It has A/C, CD player w/ AM/FM radio and upgraded speakers. The remote locks do not work but you can lock the car manually and the dome light doesn’t turn off automatically. Kelly Blue Book estimates 00 while Edmond’s estimates 03. Please document/explain your answer. Thanks!
I own this car & am considering selling it.

Car totaled, what is a fair price?

Son hit a deer and the car is totaled. Nothing owed on the car, it’s a 2002 Kia spectra. Had minor hail collected on 3 years ago and would be considered a fair car. Insurance adjuster saw it today and is getting back to us tomorrow, just so I’m prepared, about what will he offer compared to NADA, Edmonds, Kelly blue book and similar local cars for sale in the area. Any one that’s had this before, appreciate your input.

kelly blue book vs. edmonds?

If I tried to use online kelly blue book to see a range of values for a 1988 BMW 740 IL and then with edmonds. the price values are very different (,300 fair condition from kbb) and 70 (edmonds, average condition).

Why are these so different?

I tried to make sure all the options were the same, so don’t say "depends on the bells and whistles".

Which is a more accurate source for a car’s value?
I made a mistake on the year. It is 1998, not 1988
thanks wynnie
