We are going for a couple of days just to have fun! We will have a car and plan on hiking & things of that nature during the day, but at night we would like to be within walking distance to fun spots. I’m searching online and I am finding different areas within downtown (Pike Place, Space Needle, Bellevue Area…) any recommendations on area/places to stay? Any must do’s you can recommend to a first time Seattle fun seeker?

I need to purchase a new car. I’ve read the info. from carbuyingtips.com and thought I was prepared. I began talking to a salesman via the net & it became apparent that I need help with my bargaining tecnique. I told the man what I wanted to pay and he said that the dealer would never go for that and wanted to know where I got my numbers from. Here is a quote from him. "Any site from kbb.com, cars.com, edmonds.com, all contain disclaimers that these items are not reflected in their price, are different by region, and affect the actual invoice price. Of course the invoice I’m listing is an actual cost we pay for the vehicle and can be verified at any toyota dealership since we all pay the same thing. " He did not want to work with me when I tried to bargain with him. He then said "They will not sell that vehicle below our invoice. They pay me a flat fee by the vehicle so I really don’t care how low they sell it for but that is at least 00.00 below what they would consider.Help
BTW: I am looking to purchase a Toyota Rav4 SUV

I own a 1967 Electa-Glide Harley-Davidson "full dresser". It has a factory installed side car too. It’s 98% Original and only has 1875 miles on it.
Is there a web site I can go to, to find out it’s value.
I’ve tried Kelly & Edmonds,but they dealing in cars.
I’ve tried our local Harley dealer, but any price books they have don’t go back that far.
This is a tough one

Is it absolutely necessary to have a car in Seattle?

I’m planning on getting a job in downtown Seattle. My work hours will be standard M-F 8am-5pm. I plan on living in either the UDistrict or Capitol Hill. Can I rely on walking & taking the bus? Or is a car necessary?
